Clipart is line art available on-line or on discs purchased from software stores.  On-line art can be free.  We advise against copying art from existing websites.  There is plenty of clipart available free or at reasonable costs without undertaking the risk of violating the copyright law.

Original art is art you create or arrange to acquire and own the copyright.

Judicious use of clipart is recommended.  You have to understand your viewers.  Did they come to your web site for information?  Or to be entertained?  Remember:  Art is in the eye of the beholder.  And, always be aware of download times.
